We're Reinventing the World of Visual Data Management

Our founders Dr. Danny Bickson and Dr. Amir Alush, experts in computer vision and deep learning, recognized the challenges in processing, understanding, managing and extracting useful insights from large-scale, unstructured visual data. They decided to build a data management solution that will overcome the data chaos and empower data and AI teams to unlock the value of visual data.

With the validation of Fastdup, we knew we were onto something big. Together with Prof. Carlos Guestrin, a leading AI researcher from Stanford, Danny and Amir founded Visual Layer. Our mission? To build One Centralized AI Platform for Visual Data Management. And to fuel this vision, we secured a $7.5 million Seed Round led by Madrona and Insight Partners.

2023 was all about refining and expanding our platform. With the beta release of Visual Layer, we invited early adopters to join us on this journey. Their feedback was invaluable, helping us fine-tune our solutions to meet the real-world needs of data and AI teams.

This is the year Visual Layer went global. We moved from beta to a fully available platform, empowering teams around the world to manage their visual data, both locally and in the cloud. Visual Layer is now the go-to solution for companies looking to scale their AI capabilities and unlock the true value of their visual data.
